What a fantastic meal. Excellent addition to the Village of Griesbach and well worth the drive, if you are on the Northside and want authentic Indian food. The samosas (both kinds) - amazing. The butter chicken was excellent but the chicken tikka masala was the best I’ve ever had. The naan was the icing on top because who doesn’t love fresh naan out of a tandoor oven. The accolades on the wall are no surprise. The Singhs are a lovely couple and the hospitality was fantastic. they even gave my son a tour of the kitchen and let him make his own Nan bread in the tandoor. We dined in as there were five tables in the restaurant. Can’t wait to try the other items on the menu. It was reasonably priced and we will definitely be returning.
Being long time lovers of Guru in the west end, we had to try the food here. The owner/chef is very welcoming and attentive. The food is really good with a few small exceptions. The chicken biryani was superb, the chicken was perfection and the spices were just right. The butter chicken sauce is the best I’ve ever had however, the chicken seemed to be tandoori chicken added to the sauce which made the chicken a little chewy/spongy. The cauliflower 65 is excellent. Overall I would rate everything as a 4.8 but will stick with the 5/5. We’ll be back! Update: We’ve ordered several times since my first review. The food just gets better each time. I had made a comment about the butter chicken being a little chewy. That has since been rectified and is now even better. I really appreciate the willingness of an already top chef to take feedback in such a positive way. Impressive!
Got take out from butter chicken and more and it was delicious! They are located in a little plaza area. I would highly recommend the cauliflower 65! It’s cauliflower that is battered and covered in a sweet and tangy sauce. The butter chicken combo was good as well!
Was super good, girlfriend and I were just there. First time customers.. will definitely be back again. Food was super tasty and the prices were very affordable as well... I'd highly recommend checking this place out.
The place is clean, and the temperature is perfect The best butter chicken ever, good portion Samosa was good, and the tamarind chutney was good The mango custard is a must after you are done The best part... the owner is really nice and provides a great service

We found this place tonight via Google while visiting Edmonton. 5 stars doesn’t do this place justice. The food was amazing, the Cauilflour 65 you have to try this!!! Amazing!!! Crispy, with an amazing pop of flavor, and the sauce is amazing. The butter chicken was the best we’ve ever had, amazing flavor throughout, with a hint of heat to it. The only thing better than the food was the friendliness and thoughtfulness of the owner. A friendly amazing man that made the experience even better. This will be a staple for our family on future trips to Edmonton
My Boyfriend and I went in for Butter Chicken, and I can honestly say - the sweetest little restaurant ever. Such a kind owner, so very friendly and welcoming. We left with 2 butter chicken lunch deals and 2 orders of butter chicken samosas. Worth every penny! Will most defiantly return :)
